Quality: Superior V.S.O.P

Aging:10 years in oak casks

Blending :Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois

Tasting Note : This cognac is characterized by very well integrated tannins combined with some elements of florality on the nose. All that tinge with hazelnuts and peach jam to create a mellow and suave cognac. A present but velvety persistence in the mouth makes it a very pleasant and easy to drink.

Grande Champagne - 1er Cru AOC

On July 13th 1588, Henry de Navarre, the future King of France, arrived in the coastal city of La Rochelle to prepare for what turned out to be his most important battle. Six months later, the king sent a letter to Bonaventure Godet thanking him personally for the quality of the cognac he was given during his stay in La Rochelle.

A blend of over a dozen vintages of 1er Cru Grande Champagne dating from 1848 to 1940. Renaissance gives birth to the "Cognacs d’Or" of the Maison

Due to its rarity, it is only available in limited quantities. This is truly a cognac for the connoisseur, bottled in a crystal decanter.

Today in the hand of the 14th & 15th generation, the house is 100% family owned & managed company with the master blending operations still in the hand of the family member Jean Edouard Godet.

Exported around the world across a network of 60 national distributors, the House of Godet aim to express Cognac multiple
terroir and emotions through a portfolio of varied, traditional & modern cognacs.

Limited production, long maturation, hand-made work, on demand bottling of tailor made cuvées are some of Godet deep beliefs.
